Another Vancouver Firefighter Master Amino Acid Pattern (MAP) success
Dear MAP,
I started taking MAP about eight weeks ago. I received the product from Scott Blanton, who is a firefighter Captain with the same department I work for. Scott and I talk at least once a week about the increasing results that we are both experiencing.
I am thirty-eight years old and before using your product I weighed 213 lbs. My activities include heavy weightlifting in the morning with a Krav Maga self defense in the afternoon and another fight class at night. Both classes are at least an hour and include very intense cardiovascular training.
Before taking your product I used only EAS products -- the myoplex protein and creatine. I have used them off and on for about eight years and have had good success with both products. Other than a multivitamin and some vitamin C, these are the only supplements I have ever taken.
I have always been a very sensible eater, avoiding soda pop and junk food. I had talked to Scott two months ago about my increasing fatigue and lack of energy. That 's when he told me about MAP and some of the success he 's had with it, so I thought I would give it a try.
The first thing I did was stop taking all the EAS products and just stay with the multivitamin. My first week I was only taking five tablets before working out and really was not getting the results I expected. I called Scott and he suggested that I increase the dose to ten tablets before workouts. Once I increased the dose I really noticed that my strength, stamina and the constant fatigue were gone.
My body weight has increased to 230 pounds and I have not felt an increase in my appetite. Also, my food intake has not increased. In fact, I feel I look leaner and my muscle definition has definitely improved.
Two years ago when I had shoulder surgery I was told I probably would not bench press over 300 lbs again without experiencing severe pain. Before MAP I was stuck at 275 lbs max on my bench press, which always caused several days of discomfort. Now I am benching 310 lbs, and other than normal muscle pain, my shoulder feels great.
In fact, my overall recovery time on all my muscle groups has improved, and I no longer feel the need to take days off from training because of the soreness. Before MAP I was so fatigued after my self-defense classes that I would not do anything else after I got home and needed to rest at least two days because of the soreness.
Now, I will go to two and sometimes three classes a day and wake up the next morning with very little soreness. I feel my overall health has improved and for the first time in about 10 years, I have not needed to take any sinus/allergy medication this spring and summer.
Sincerely,
Rob Tanner
