Triathlon
Sponsored (Nike, Kelly, Tinley, Gu, Lamson) elite athlete from 1987 – 1994. Specialized in Olympic Distance, half IM, and sprint. Qualified for national championships 3 years. Retired from triathlon in 1994 to focus on ultra-endurance challenges. Re-entered triathlons in 2005.
Helped Bill Vaughn develop Gu as a test subject.

Jukka Valkonen is a Registered Nurse and licensed Public Health Nurse. His clinical background is in critical care/trauma nursing. He has been a health-fitness trainer and consultant for nearly 20 years, having trained and consulted with world-ranked professional athletes, children, adults, and seniors. He competed as a professional/elite level triathlete and remains one of the top multi-sport athletes.
