Master Amino Acid Pattern (MAP) Wildflower Success
Here is a first report on my use of MAP.
I was somewhat skeptical of the product as I usually am. So I decided to give it a good chance. Over the last week, I did four significant events for me that represent the type of training and riding I do. I intentionally didn't allow my regular "recovery" sessions as further "test" of the product. Here are the events and the results.
Thurday, April 22nd - I took 10 tabs prior to a crit style race lasting approx 40 minutes. Effort was medium hard to hard. No noticeable effect during the race, but I did feel good after the race.
Friday, April 23rd - I ran 5 miles at a medium to medium -hard pace. Legs felt good, no tiredness, soreness or other symptoms of race on Thursday. Took 5 tabs prior to run.
Saturday, April 24th - Took 10 tabs prior to 51 mile solo ride. Felt good the entire ride and was working medium hard for entire ride. Legs felt strong with no soreness or tiredness. Did NOT eat for the ride but only drank 20oz of Cytomax and 20 oz of Accelerade. Took 5 tabs after ride.
Sunday, April 25th - Ran 3.5 miles medium pace. No soreness, tiredness in legs. Legs felt strong and had energy. Took 5 tabs prior to run.
Monday, April 26th - Took 10 tabs and then rode 30 miles with a friend at medium hard to hard pace. Ride included several hills over a mile long each. I led most of the ride (breaking the wind) and hammered the climbs. NO soreness and NO tiredness; in fact my legs felt STRONG. No lactic acid buildup, and quicker recovery after hard efforts. Finished the ride with a 23% grade on a climb .25 mile long. HARD effort, but quick recovery and no lactic acid buildup. I'm feeling really good....is it my imagination? Took 10 tabs after ride.
Tuesday, April 27th - Raced a 24 mile race with 60 other Cat 34 riders. Course was flat. Took 10 tabs prior to race. I bridged up to a breakaway group on mile 14 into a strong headwind and then worked in the six man break for ten miles. This effort was at least 10 hard effort pulls lasting several minutes each. In the final sprint finish I rode away from the other five and finished the race in first place! My legs felt great, no lactic buildup, great energy, quick recovery. Prior to the break that stuck, I made three other break attempts with other riders. Also my rear brake was dragging for the first 6 miles. Ouch! My effort this race was hard to very hard for approx 1 hour. I took 5 tabs after race.
Wednesday, April 28th - I should be sore and tired, but instead feel energized and ready to race. Today is a run of five miles planned.
As you can see, I attempted to tire myself out and really see if I felt anything from using the product. So far, I am impressed! I will continue to try it out and then I think I may have to try and figure out how to finance keeping the product in my training arsenal. I have used 60 tabs so far and really could have used more. At this rate I will use a bottle every two weeks, or two bottles per month. I will keep you posted on more results.
Sincerely,
