MAP, my favorite "training buddy". I first heard about MAP during a nutrition discussion at a Dave Scott Camp I participated in a few years ago. A couple of weeks later, after a tough race and a slow recovery, I remembered the advice Dave gave during his nutrition class. I promptly went online, found Body Health.com and began reading more about MAP and the benefits it offered to athletes. Quick recovery and optimum protein usage were definitely not being well-addressed in my diet at that time. So, it was not hard to decide what my next step would be - to begin including MAP in my daily regimen.
The difference that MAP made in my training results, my physical strength, my endurance and recovery time was quickly apparent. And from that time until now, those key components continue to improve. It is truly AMAZING!
I have completed 9 Ironman races during the past 4 years, including the IM World Championship last year (2008). This year, I started my racing season by placing 1st in the W60-64 age group at the Wildfiower Long Course. My ability to perform in several endurance triathlons each year and to recover easily has truly been enhanced by using MAP daily.
