"Since I have started using MAP, I have noticed improved recovery between training sessions. In the last month I have been doing large training loads and the benefits have been noticeable.
I look forward to using MAP through the demanding racing season." - Michael Barry
With MAP I have been able to handle high workloads day after day and have been able to ride the fine line between being too tired to train and fit and strong.

An injury is one of the toughest challenges for any athlete. Being away from the sport you love, is often a greater challenge than dealing with the injury itself. Two weeks ago I crashed heavily in a Belgian cycling Classics, the Tour of Flanders. The race is famous for its cobbled climbs, foul weather and is considered one of the toughest on the calendar and was one of the major goals in the team’s spring campaign.
Up until the second hour of the race, my season was going perfectly. I had been able to train well, gaining strength with each competition and training session. I felt good and our team was the best it had ever been going into the week of ‘Classics’ in northern Europe.
And then, I woke up in the hospital, not knowing how I fell, or how bad the damage was. It was fairly bad, as I had broken 3 vertebrae and had some severe facial cuts—I was also unconscious for forty minutes or so. Thankfully, it is all healing well and 2 weeks after the fact, I am back on the home trainer, riding my bike for an hour each day. It feels good to pedal again, and I am motivated with the new challenges and new objectives.
Prior to the crash we had done many tough one day races and several stage races. I was recovering better than ever and hadn’t been losing any muscle mass—thanks to MAP.
MAP will now be a big part in my rehabilitation and my new goals for the rest of the season.
