| Discovery Channel's Michael Barry is Back in the Peloton!
"Since I have started using Master Amino Acid Pattern (MAP), I have noticed improved recovery between training sessions. In the last month I have been doing large training loads and the benefits have been noticeable.
I look forward to using MAP through the demanding racing season." - Michael Barry
With MAP I have been able to handle high workloads day after day and have been able to ride the fine line between being too tired to train and fit and strong.

After several months away from the races I am now back in the peloton. I had crashed the first weekend in April at the Tour of Flanders classic and fractured three vertebrae. After two months of recuperation, I started racing in June at the Dauphine Libere: a week long race in the French Alps that serves as a test for all the riders getting ready to battle in the Tour de France in July. The stages, and competition, are similar to the Tour but on a smaller scale.
Over the last few months my workloads have increased and I have been recovering and getting stronger with each ride. With daily use, I feel MAP has helped me improve my overall fitness and now I am performing at the same level I was at before I crashed. I am also now leaner and stronger and my climbing abilities have improved as a result.
During the race I recovered surprisingly well and I was able to find a competitive level right from the first stage.
We were racing on some of the most historic roads in cycling where all of the legends of the sport have battled for Tour de France victory. The climbs we rode took us to snowy peaks at over 2000 m and the descents were equally as dramatic with kilometers of switchbacks on narrow roads.
In the coming months I will be working towards bigger goals and with each training ride and race I get a little closer to accomplishing them.
