Winner at Heart Center Rocketman Triathlon (age group 40-44)

I won my age group at the Rocketman Triathlon at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, on Aug 29th. I just started competing after about ten years of abusing my body in other ways, most of them not very healthy either.

Over the course of the summer I took about five bottles of MAP. At the start of the season I mostly just covered the distances. But last week everything came together and I won my age group by more than two minutes!

Now I am re-evaluating my goals for next year and am thinking about trying to qualify for Kona — a long shot but I might as well try. I truly think that MAP helps me recover faster and therefore train harder. As more stories come out about "staying in the zone" longer, I'm finding MAP helps me do that.
