Captain Ed's Journal
Greetings again from chilly AK (8 below this morning)…although I did get to Hawaii last week for a week of vacation, which was pretty sweet. A little bit of sun squeezed into your bleak and dreary winter goes a long way.
Entry:
As I continue to get ready for ROP (Ranger Orientation Program) at Fort Benning , GA , I have gone to two a day workouts over the last several weeks to try and achieve the highest level of fitness possible before attending the course.
Even with two a day workouts, I am still rarely sore and from my morning workout to my afternoon workout, I feel almost completely recovered from the first before I hit the second workout. What's great is that I feel strong during my second workout. I love that. A couple of weeks ago I ran 10+ miles in the morning doing some tempo work, and then in the afternoon was able to do a great pushup and shoulder workout without feeling any ill effects from the run workout earlier that day.
This process has repeated itself consistently over the last several weeks. I continue to drop weight slowly and increase my strength and speed with each passing week.
I think one of the greatest things about MAP is that it does not allow you to ‘waste' any of your training sessions. By ‘waste,' I am referring to when an athlete works extremely hard during a particular training session and then does not recover properly either through his diet, follow on workouts, etc. If you take MAP, you are guaranteed to ‘capture' your gains made during that workout by ensuring that body is properly recovered for your next workout. While you can make gains without training with MAP, your gains are going to be that much greater if you do train with MAP.
I have recently let two of my friends try a bottle of MAP, one of whom I regularly train with. He (my training partner) has already noticed the difference after just a couple of weeks. He has noticed the decreased soreness after workouts and how much better he feels the next day after training hard.
I wish I could hand everybody I see training hard a bottle of MAP to let them experience the difference that I feel each day.
Thanks again to BodyHealth and MAP. I can't say enough good things about your product.
