Captain Ed's Journal
Hi. I am currently at Fort Benning , GA for the Ranger Orientation Program (ROP), the assessment and selection course for the 75th Ranger Regiment.
I have been here since the beginning of the month and my 6 week training period building up for ROP with MAP appears to have gone very well.
For the Army physical fitness test (2 min pushups, 2 min situps, 2 mile run), I set a personal best in situps with 95, and on the two mile run with 11:52. A couple of days later, I ran a 34 minute five mile run, and then (two days after the 5 miler) completed the 12 mile foot march on a hilly course in 2 hours 16 minutes, coming in first for our class.
We had our weight taken today and also had our body fat tested as well. I am down to 203 pounds and registered 9 percent body fat.
MAP allows you to train hard and recover fast from even the most brutal workouts.
Thanks to MAP and some outstanding workouts, I have achieved the most balanced fitness level of my life, and made strength gains and cardio gains that I have never achieved before.
Again, thanks.
Ed
