Captain Ed's Journal
Well, the month of November was spent in US Army Pathfinder School, one of the Army's most academically challenging schools. We began the course with 65 Soldiers and will graduate 34 this Friday. Over the course of three weeks we were tested on our knowledge of Sling-Loads, Helicopter Landing Zones and Pick-up Zones, and three different types of drop zones. The course culminated last night when we completed 24 hours in the field applying all that we had learned over the last three weeks.
I had a great time challenging myself again against one of the Army's tougher schools, and relished the challenges each exam would bring.
Throughout the course, I was surprised to find myself with a bit of time to work out each day. After sitting in class all day, nothing felt better than to head over to the gym and belt an hour of vigorous PT. Of course, through it all, MAP helped me recover quickly and focus on studying for class.
Rarely (unless I pushed myself extremely hard) did I feel sluggish or sleepy while studying for several hours after my workout, and I have MAP to thank for that.

MAP has now been with me through US Army Air Assault School, Pathfinder School, two deployments (one to Afghanistan, and one to Iraq), and will now be with me as I move on to take a job next month in Washington, D.C. with the 3rd Infantry Regiment (the Old Guard).
December will be a month of transition for Tracy and me as we relocate to the D.C. Metro area. We both want to thank MAP for the tremendous gains we both have seen while using the product, and look forward to a strong finish in
2008 and a great start to 2009.
