We’ve had a banner year of growth and wish to thank all of you for your support of MAP and our other products. It has been a lot fun to work with many of you and provide products and information to help you achieve your goals. Time to dust off the calendar and start penciling in this year’s race schedule. Make it fun and make it challenging, and we’ll see you out there throughout the season. Train safely.

    The challenge of all sports and training is to improve current performance and reach new goals in whatever sport one is playing. Two very important factors underlie all training and will determine if you will reach your goals or not.

    1. Nutrition is the most important factor. Adequate nutrients must be available to build your tissues and organs as well as provide fuel for energy.

    Winner at Ormond Beach YMCA Triathlon (age group 25-29)

    I am a former Florida State University cross country runner. I also was on the 2003 USA Amateur Short Course Duathlon Team competing in Switzerland. This year I have qualified for both short course and the Half Ironman Distance National Triathlon Championships.

    I love MAP because it allows me to recover so much faster. I can train longer and harder and recover quickly, which leads to faster race times and more mental focus.

    I was having some not-so-great races, not sure if I was recovering properly. So I started taking MAP and felt good when I woke up in the a.m. A few weeks later, I did a sprint triathlon and was second OVERALL female. I have never been that close before -- I was leading all the way through until the one-mile mark on the run. I got 2nd overall and would have won my age-group by a huge margin!

    I like my Pozitive Energy right before my swim workout at 6 a.m. Today I took 8 sprays, ate a banana, took 10 MAP and headed for the pool.
