    With hard or long workouts there is damage done to structural proteins. This is the muscle, tendon and ligament soreness after a hard workout. For a damaged protein to heal, it must be repaired. While many nutrients are required for this, the most important is quality protein. This is because the damaged structures are made of protein.

    The Off Season

    We started months ago preparing for our goal Ironman race and last month we discussed the importance of full recovery after the big event. Whether you raced Kona in October or Lake Placid in July, the season is complete, your goals accomplished and, at this point, we Type A's face a new challenge – the Off Season. The casual observer might expect a triathlete to relish time off with no pressure of a a race schedule. However, that is frequently not the case and, in fact, some of us feel adrift during the winter months.


    New Masters Men 800m World Record


    I want to thank you for putting out what I think is a great product. I believe these amino acids were instrumental in helping me recover from my workouts faster, therefore allowing more quality training sessions. With that in mind, I've established a new Masters Men (45-49 age group) 800m World Record! 1:54.18! And threatened the old 400m record (50.20), and ran 50.24.
