Greetings,
Team BodyHealth Athletes are Ironman World
Champions AGAIN!
CONGRATS TO CHERIE GRUENFELD 9 TIME IM
WORLD CHAMPION AND KEVIN MOATS 3 TIME IM
WORLD CHAMPION.
(I had a great race at the Intimidator ½ IM in Clermont
two weeks ago. Was first out of the water and off the
bike, but one very fast guy ran me down. I got second.
It was a very hot day, 93 degrees, 90+ humidity. My
heart rate was screaming all day. I took 10 MAP
before, 10 after the bike, and 10 at the finish. Very little
post race soreness. Try it! Next is IM Arizona.) Have
a great week.

| Beware of The Toxic Invasion |
 |
Current research studies are finding that many of
today's diseases and health problems are linked to
an over-burden of environmental toxins in the body.
Our food, water and air contain large amounts of
environmental toxins that easily enter our bodies. They
come in through the following routes:

We all know the KISS principle right? Keep it Simple
Stupid. . . It applies at work - at the office - and guess
what - it applies for your racing and training also.

| Ironman Louisville |
 |
As I tell new triathletes while they're training for
their
first Ironman, it's all about nutrition, hydration and
pacing. So much of what we accomplish on race day
is entirely the result of race execution. That is, have a
plan and execute that plan. Would I practice what I
preach?
For Ironman Louisville, we awoke to probably the best
weather they'll ever have during an Ironman late in
August in Kentucky. The sky was clear and temp a bit
cool. In fact, it would be sunny with a high of 76
degrees during the mid afternoon - not bad, eh?

Congratulations to Team BodyHealth athletes as they claim World Titles. |

The two Team BodyHealth athletes who
competed at the Ironman World Championships in
Kona on October 10, both claimed age-group World
Championship titles.
Cherie Gruenfeld led the 65-69 age-group from start
to finish, setting a new course record and finishing
over 2 hours ahead of her nearest rival in a time of
13:22. This victory gives her an astonishing ninth
World Championship title.
Reflecting on the race she says, " In preparing for
Kona this year, I made a few minor changes to my
training plan, taking a bit more rest while still putting
together two or three days of key training back-to-back
each week. Doing this, and being on a regular regime
of MAP, I was able to get in some quality training. And
it paid off with a solid 1st place win and a new course
record in the W65-69. Now I'm using MAP as part of
my recovery plan."
