    Hi, I would like to run a marathon with my son. My problem is that I will be doing IM just 6 weeks later . Anyway I can incorporate this into my training plan?

    Dosing MAP, Here is what I suggest . . .


    Dosing: Under 130 pounds, 6-7 tablets before workout. Can be taken with sports drink, water, juice or fruit. No oils or proteins. Over 130 pounds, take 10 tablets.

    On hard or long days, take a second dose when you are done. If the workout has been less than 2 hours then . . ..


    Why do we need to eat protein, and does it matter which foods that protein comes from?


    In the subject of nutrition, perhaps the least understood area is protein. In a recent survey that asked "why do we eat protein?", the majority of respondents responded with "for energy." Another question in that survey asked: "Each of these foods has 14 grams of protein: ˝ can of tuna, a Balance Bar, 1 scoop of whey or soy protein. Does it matter which one is eaten to get maximum protein nutritional value?" The majority of people said it did not matter as, if each had 14 grams of protein. they were all equal.
