Greetings,
If you enjoy the newsletter, please share it with others.
This issue is packed with great articles. Cherie
Gruenfeld, 8 time Age Group IM World Champion
writes about modern day hero, Rudy Garcia, who is
the first double above the knee amputee to finish an
IM. Then Dave Scott on why you should detoxify during
the off-season, and USAT Coach Pam Kalio on road
racing in Tuscon and IM AZ. Then who can benefit
from MAP. The list is long.
Have a great week.

When I was in college, every fall my collegiate
water
polo team would travel to a city in the Los Angeles
metropolitan area and at the conclusion of one 60
minute game - all of us were unable to take a half
breath. The air pollution in the 70's and the location of
the campus swimming pool to several freeways
contributed to an atrocious level of carbon pollutants.
This exposure in my 20's heightened my awareness
to the invisible but overwhelming potential exposure to
environmental pollutants.

| BodyHealth Intestinal Cleanse Testimonial |
 |
I am just writing to say thank you on behalf of my
husband, Dan, for your wonderful product BodyHealth
Intestinal Cleanse. He is so satisfied with the results
he will be placing another, larger order.
He has had a constipation problem since he was a
small child, sometimes with no bowel movements for
two weeks. Dan and I have been together since 1970
and believe me, he has tried everything imaginable to
resolve his problem. The prescription his doctor gave
him is nasty (too sweet) and although it's supposed
not to affect his diabetes, it does.

I'm sometimes asked where I find my inspiration
and my answer has always been the same: While I
admire the professional racers for their amazing
athletic talents, my true inspiration comes from the
amateur athlete who must overcome daily obstacles
and challenges in his or her life. This group includes
moms and dads raising a family, the older athlete
fighting against the clock, and the physically
challenged.
Last weekend I witnessed an inspirational moment
that tops all others. Rudy Garcia-Tolson became the
first double above-the-knee amputee to finish an
Ironman. Rudy, who is twenty-one, has been a friend
of mine since he was seven, so I've had the privilege
of following the journey that led this amazing young
man to his first Ironman finish line.

| Who can benefit from MAP? |
 |
· Children. Growing bodies need essential
amino acids. Many children do not eat enough quality
protein to meet their body requirements. You can
supplement them with MAP. It only takes a few tablets
a day to make a difference and allow optimum growth,
bones, immune health and intelligence. Just crush
the tablets in some honey and add to juice. The dose
for a child is 1 tablet for every 5 pounds. This would
supply all of the child's protein needs for the day. The
maximum dose per day would be up to 30 tablets.

| December thoughts . . . |

Yesterday and today marked another first for me.
Yesterday, I competed in the 109 mile Tour De Tucson
race. This was a major cycling event with almost
9000 total entries. With a new a new job, my training
was not what it should have been, but with the help of
MAP I still managed to place 8th out of 51 in my age
group and in the top 1/3 overall. It literally was the

Dear David,
Last month, I was in Clearwater, Florida for the
2009 Half-Ironman Triathlon World Championships,
and happened to stop by a very special place called
the "Lifeworks Wellness Center".
Why did I choose to go there?
You may remember back to Podcast Episode #26
from http://tinyurl.com/steakinapill , in which I interview
a gentleman named Dr.
David Minkoff about the Three Main causes for illness
and a drop in human performance. In that interview,
Dr. Minkoff also talked about his health center in
Florida, which is described as the following on their
website:
"Whether it's menopause symptoms, weight gain,
chronic illness or just a sore throat, LifeWorks
Wellness Center can help you regain your health.
Located in Clearwater in the Tampa Bay area,
LifeWorks Wellness Center combines complementary
and alternative medicine with traditional approaches
to give you the best health care possible.
We offer more than a dozen different alternative
therapies and modalities for wellness, and offer them
all right in the same clinic, with integrative care
coordinated by experienced health practitioners.
