  • Captain Ed's Journal:

MAP continues to deliver like when I first began to take the product.

I am in the process of completing an 8 week ruck-intensive program here at COB Taji that seen me progress from an 8-mile foot march with a 50 lb. pack to an 18-mile foot march last Saturday with a 50 lb. pack.

    Jukka's Corner

I realized this AM that I don't think I have shared the pain of one of my favorite cycling workouts! :)

Back when I was a very young pro, Cindy Olavari was my coach. Later, we became colleagues as trainers at the same sports center. Cindy raced in the 70s and 80s and along with Rebecca Twig put US women's cycling onto the world stage. Unfortunately, her career was cut short due to medical issues.

Have You Ever Tried KT Tape

Several weeks ago while walking through the Expo for the Gasparilla Distance Classic I ran across a booth manned by a couple guys who looked like they had graffiti painted on their arms and legs. One guy was doing the same designs on someone else's leg. When I stopped to watch what was going on I could see that it wasn't graffiti at all but some black tape that was being put on the person's legs in a very deliberate form. When I inquired about it he told me that this increased support and circulation to an area and it could help performance, stabilize a weak or injured area, or improve the tracking over a joint.

    Thanks to MAP,

I've been on a Nordic rampage this winter!

    7 races.

    7 podiums.

    3 OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

My winter racing season is all but over;  one more minor race in Telluride in March. MAP rules!

Also, I am more convinced than ever about MAP's critical importance for newborns/toddlers...especially within the area of bioneural synaptic development in children ages 1.5 - 3 years.

My daughter, Dewa, is unbelievably mentally fit and physical superb; just a super cool disposition.  She refuses TV/DVD's and chooses on her own to listen and dance to music or color or do counting/lettering practice.   Her mental sustaining energy (what we call; dharana in yoga) is exceptional and her sleep quality equally deep. She is a MAP baby.

My only wish is for all Mothers to be on MAP during pregnancy and for their breast milk and for all children to have the opportunity of being in a positive nitrogen balance during their pre-natal and early years.

    Thanks BodyHealth,
