    Ironwoman vs Ironwoman. Its amazing

Q and A with Dave Scott

    From Carl in Aspen:
Dear Dave, I live in a very hilly area and am racing in a flat IM in the fall. In the past my concentration on hills left me ill prepared to stay in the drops for 6 hours during a flat bike ride. Should I just do more on the trainer to get ready for this? Thanks

    From Dave Scott:
Carl, I am familiar with your terrain in the Aspen area and I would NOT advise you to do your main or longer sessions on the trainer. Developing rhythm and cadence adjusting to the wind are all paramount for your agility adaptation.

My suggestion in your flat Ironman race is ...

    To have Racing Success . . .

    By Cherie Gruenfeld

I just won my age group in Ironman Arizona, breaking my own course record on what was considered a very tough day.

I believe what made this possible includes several things: Good genes, smart training, strong support from my husband and having eight of my Exceeding Expectations kids there cheering for me. But this list wouldn't be complete without including my use of MAP.
