MAP Winner's Circle - Christen King

Since using MAP, my high intensity interval training sessions have improved. During my track sessions I can maintain the same pace or descend throughout the entire workout. Before using MAP, I would usually fatigue towards the end of the session, and my pace would slow down as a result.

I also see improvement in my "brick" workouts. I will usually go on an endurance ride of 50 miles or more and follow the bike ride with a 30 to 40 minute run at tempo pace. When I supplement with MAP, I can run at tempo right off the bike. Without MAP it takes me about a mile before I can get up to speed.

    Thanks again!
    Christen King

Why Body Proteins need replacement daily

Since most of the body's proteins are continually broken down, the body needs to manufacture thousands of proteins every day to replace them.

The body uses the amino acids obtained from dietary protein or amino acid supplements to build the body's proteins, which become the structural foundation of the body and the molecules that sustain life.

    344 miles in 24 days

The following study, showing that "Taking MAP Formula as a Sole and Total Substitute of Dietary Proteins in an Athlete" during a Desert Crossing, was published in the medical journal Advances in Therapy (July/August 2003).

It belies common sense that an athlete walking 344 miles in 24 days, across desert sands, and carrying a 48 pound backpack would need a lot of protein to keep the body running efficiently.

    After a hard workout

After a hard workout try this.

    1. Rehydrate with your favorite carb drink
    2. Take 10 MAP to begin muscle repair within 22 minutes
    3. Take 5-8 Vascuzyme to clean up any injured proteins and reduce inflammation
    4. Use “ The Stick ” on front and backs of legs to flush them out
    5. Take 2 tablets of Oxitrol antioxidant mixture. This and Vascuzyme can be obtained by calling LifeWorks Wellness Center at 727 466 6789

    Setting the 2007 Calendar

From Ironman World Champion Cherie Gruenfeld

As you hand over your Christmas "Wish List" to the loved ones and hope you've been good enough, it's time to admit that you've already started your 2007 season. With big races filling so quickly, hopefully you've already registered for your key race(s) and are starting to think through an appropriate training and a supporting racing schedule that will work for you.

We've all heard plenty about A,B and C races:
