Ford Ironman 70.3 Florida, event this month. Please
come up and say hi.
We have MAP specials for race day. Come to the
booth and learn about them. This week: Kevin Moats

| Continues his winning ways |

Kevin Moats age group Ironman Hawaii World
Champion 2005 continues his winning ways with
MAP.
He raced Lavaman in Hawaii a month ago and had a
great race. He won his age group (50-55) by 12
minutes and won the two age groups below him
too. The winner of the 35-39 age group and the
fastest Big Island Finisher only beat him by 5
seconds. What’s a senior citizen like Kevin doing
going so fast? Smart training, genetic ability, drive to
be the best, and MAP for recovery. Are you
meeting your potential? Try MAP for 6 weeks and
see what you can do.

| Wake up the stored energy in your body! |
 |
Rather than relying on heavy doses of caffeine or
sugar to wake you up, Pozitive Energy contains an
arsenal of B Vitamins and other natural ingredients to
kick-start your body. B Vitamins are co-factors in the
creation of your body's ATP molecules. These ATP
molecules actually store your body's energy. When
you pump a few sprays of Pozitive Energy into your
mouth, Pozitive Energy boosts your cell energy and
improves your nerve transmission.

Testimonial
I took
Pozitive Energy for the Mt. Evens race in Colorado. I
was very surprised when I won my age group. The
race is a 14 mile race up to 14,000 feet in elevation.
It is a very difficult race, the oxygen level is
decreasing and the lactic acid is building.
In retrospect, comparing it to the Ironman, it was
equally as challenging. I find that when I take the
(Pozitive Energy) spray that my attitude and
endurance are increased,
it is great! - Eileen B.

| Is your best bike cadence fast like LA? Or slower? |
 |
Take a look at this study from the International
Journal of Sports Medicine 2006;27:296-300. They
looked at the effects of altering cadence on a five
mile time trial in well trained amateur cyclists. Mean
age was 24 years.
The trial was done three times by each rider. The
first was at their preferred cadence (92 rpm), the
second at 10% higher (101 rpm) and the last 10%
lower than preferred (83 rpm). Results:
The lower cadence was the most economical, was
the fastest, and had the least amount of
cardiorespiratory strain. You might do this test
yourself using a windtrainer, power monitor and heart
rate monitor and see for yourself what your optimal
cadence is. Faster may not be better.
Then if you
really want to see something, record that time, then
take 10 MAP twice a day for 7 days and do it
again at your optimum cadence. I’ll bet you a four
leaf clover you’ll be faster after a week on MAP.

| Is your lifestyle protecting you from prostate cancer? |
 |
|
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in
males. From 1972 to 1993 the incidence increased
192%. This year nearly 200,000 males will be
diagnosed and 30,000 will die from prostate cancer.
What can you do to prevent it?
1. Vitamin D is protective. Get daily sunshine of 30
minutes or more without sunscreen. It blocks Vitamin
D. Do not burn though as that may be worse.
2. Excess saturated fat is a risk factor. Avoid
transfats in commercial baked goods, and deep fried
foods. Eat organic lean proteins from beef, poultry or
lamb.

250 MILES BIKE RIDE IN EXTREME CONDITIONS |
|

|
by Luis Alvarez
Winner at Ironman Arizona and Honolulu -World
Record Holder - Only man to complete every Ironman
race location in the World
Last Friday I was part of the organization as well as
a participant of a nice little bike ride from Mexico City
to Acapulco. You would probably know that
Acapulco is a port in the Pacific Ocean, in the south
of Mexico, and one of the most famous and popular
places for vacations. It has beautiful beaches and a
great night life. We were 60 mad men and women
that started with the desire of watching the sea from
a bike.
Here are the details of the ride:
We began at 4:00 a.m. and rode 250 miles in 13
hours. The temperature varied from 32 degrees F to
113 degrees F. We cycled over a 10,200 foot peak
and...
