| Protein Facts Everyone Should Know |
 |
Few nutrients are as misunderstood as protein.
See if you know these six key facts about this
essential nutrient for your body.
Protein Makes Up Your Body's Structure
Protein is an essential component of the diet and
helps your body repair muscle, grow tissue, regulate
hormones, control metabolism, defend against illness,
and more.
Protein is what makes up your ligaments, tendons,
muscles, hair, nails, skin, teeth, tissue, organs, and
bones. About half of the non-water mass of your
body is made up of protein.

I've been using Master Amino Acid Pattern for almost a year and
2006 has been my most successful season ever!
I believe the Master Amino Acid Pattern has helped tremendously with
my ability to recover quickly and increase the training
load.
Mid-way through the season I was wondering why I
was having trouble recovering after tough workouts
and my swim coach suggested, "Why don't you try
Master Amino Acid Pattern?" I replied, "Oh yeah, I was taking it and ran
out". I tried bought some more and felt myself again
recovering quickly. I now depend on Master Amino Acid Pattern to get
me through those tough training weeks. - Beth

| Wake up the stored energy in your body! |
 |
Rather than relying on heavy doses of caffeine
or sugar to wake you up, Pozitive
Energy contains an arsenal of B Vitamins and
other natural ingredients to kick-start your body. B
Vitamins are co-factors in the creation of your body's
ATP molecules. These ATP molecules actually store
your body's energy. When you pump a few sprays of
Pozitive Energy into your mouth, Pozitive Energy
boosts your cell energy and improves your nerve
transmission.

Combating the Post Ironman Blues |
|
|
|
by Kim Loeffler

the size of softballs. Your legs hurt. Your list of
things to do after Kona seems unbearable. You’re
cranky, tired and irritable. Welcome to the post
Ironman blues! We all experience it. Whether we
have good races or bad races, after the awards and
the celebrations and the long trip home, we are all
left with a feeling of emptiness. It reminds me of the
day after Christmas as a child. There is such a build
up for so long. You give so much of yourself for so
long, you alter your entire lifestyle and before you
know it, it’s over. Below are 5 steps to combating
the post Ironman blues (preferably in the order
listed):
