Master Amino Acid Pattern (MAP) leads to faster recovery, increased muscle strength, increased bone strength, improved lactic acid clearance, and improved immune response.
For maximum effect, the dosage* is based on workout time and body weight:
General Nutrition
MAP Formula suggested use: take 1-1.5 tableta per 40 lbs. of body weight daily or as directed by a health professional. Take 30 minutes before or 3 hours after any high protein meal.

MAP Formula suggested use: Take 5 to 10 tablets of MAP Formula 30 minutes before performing physical activity.
Tips for intermediate or advanced athletes:
- 1. Take 2.5 tablets per 40 pounds of body weight of MAP 20-30 minutes before working out. This can be taken with a sports drink, or fruit or vegetable juice.
- 2. On hard days take a second dosage of the same amount after the workout. If the workout it less than two hours than wait at least two hours to take the second dose. It is best to take MAP 30 minutes before eating any other protein source.
- 3. In addition, eat the correct amount of dietary protein (meat, fish, eggs, poultry but not whey or soy protein substitutes) to meet your Protein Daily Requirement (PDR) (see Table I). Whey and soy are poor protein sources. See NNU chart.
- 4. Also take your daily requirement of vitamins, minerals, trace elements using BodyHealth Complete, 2 tablets twice daily plus 1 tablespoon of Carlsons Fish Oil per day.
- 5. Get adequate rest (sleep at least 8-9 hours per night).
Light Workouts and non-workout days or light days:
- Take one dose only.
- It is best to take the product 20-30 minutes before mealtime.
Extra-long workouts or races lasting more than 4 hours:
Do the above, but add a third dose 6 hours after the end of the workout.
