Getting good sleep is one of the most important things we can do, not just for muscle building and fat loss, but for our mood, energy levels, and overall health.
As sleep is when our body is able to recover and repair cells, a lack of it even affects the aging process, speeding it up internally, as well as visibly causing wrinkles and sagging skin.
Yet a third of Americans get poor sleep, and athletes are no stranger to this.
In fact, many athletes, due to overtraining at times, can raise cortisol levels so much that they can have a very hard time getting good sleep.

Electromagnetic Fields, or EMFs, are invisible electric and magnetic fields of force surrounding any flowing electricity or magnetic object.
They can be generated by natural things, like the Earth's magnetic field, or the Sun, which don’t cause us trouble. Or they can be generated by man-made devices: cell phone towers, cell phones, microwave ovens, kitchen appliances, and even electrical wiring in our homes.
And these can cause us trouble, depending on how much or many we’re exposed to, and how strong they are.

The body is a complex contraption, full of very exact systems, and a thousand different factors influencing its overall health and performance in one way or another.
But how do we separate out the important factors that allow us to measure our overall health and spot potential health troubles before they become a real situation?
There is something called Heart Rate Variability, or HRV, and it is a literal measuring stick for our health that we can use monitor to ourselves.

We know our bodies do most of their repair while we sleep. But did you know they do most of their fat-burning while we sleep as well?
That’s right. And if our sleep is interrupted often, it can lead to not only less fat-burning taking place, but more fat-creation.

When our sleep is below normal, when it’s broken up or thrown off, it affects us more both physically and mentally than we realize. Sleep is when most fat burning and muscle building occurs, as well as when most cellular repair happens. Our cortisol levels lower when we get good sleep and we become less stressed or anxious and more able to relax. This helps balance out hormones and neurotransmitters.

What’s interesting is that food product manufacturers know there are millions of people like you. (We say, “food product” because much of the time what they sell is not really “food” and much more of a “product”)
They know consumers around...
