Welcome to the final week of the 30-Day Fat Loss Challenge!
During this challenge we’ve had our ups and downs as cravings came and went and hormones began to balance.
But by Week Four things have evened out or soon will.
Energy levels rise, mood may become more even, sleep becomes more restful, digestion improves, and overall health rises.
And, of course, we’ve lost a significant amount of body fat.

As we near the end of the Fat Loss stage of this or any protocol, fat loss will slow. We might still have some extra fat, but it’s not coming off or it’s coming off very slowly.
Also, we’re getting hungry. Not for sugar or junk food, but hunger for more nutrition.
At this point, it’s counter-productive to carry on with Fat Loss, even if we have a bit more to lose. We need to do something else.

Well done on making it through Week Two of the 30-Day Fat Loss Challenge!
For some, we're finishing the last of the cravings. For many, we’re in the midst of hormonal re-balancing, something that will continue through the end of the challenge.
But for others, we may have already reached our goals. And we need to talk about what that point looks like, because if we go beyond it on our current macros, then we’ll cause ourselves trouble.

There is a reason this is the Fat Loss Challenge, not the Weight Loss Challenge.
Usually when someone wants to be thinner, trimmer, fitter-looking, they say: “I need to lose weight.”
And that’s the first error, because weight loss is not necessarily the same as fat loss.

The key to sustainable fat loss is not “cutting calories”, “working out”, or “changing our diet”.
Yes, we absolutely do need to do all of this for immediate fat loss.
But we’re talking about sustainable fat loss now: how to reduce body fat in the smoothest and most pain-free way, and how to keep it off afterwards.
And there is one thing that determines this more than any other: our hormones.

If you’ve ever had trouble with diets, losing weight, or simply keeping the weight off, let’s start by saying… It’s not you.
Let me say that one more time in case you didn't get it. It’s. Not. You. Period.
Every year, over a hundred million Americans make New Year’s Resolutions. And, there’s one resolution made more often than any of the others: the goal to lose weight. It’s also the one that’s given up on the fastest.
Why is that the case?

“How do I get off sugar and junk food? It's so hard!” In case you feel alone in this struggle — please know that you're not. In fact, the majority of people don't succeed from mainstream diets, even when they go all out on them. Why is that? Is it because the diet or lifestyle habits to succeed are not practical? Or you might be thinking you are not determined enough or simply lazy. Though some of the factors we’ll cover will make you feel low in energy to the point you may feel it’s laziness, but no it’s not.

Growth Hormone (GH or HGH) is a key hormone that helps us build muscle and burn fat.
Your muscles are made of cells that have been fused together into muscle fibers. And on the outside of these fibers are things called satellite cells.
When you work out you damage cells in the muscle fibers. To fix this, your body releases Growth Hormone, Growth Factors (other hormones) and Testosterone. These tell the satellite cells to start replicating to both repair and replace damaged cells in the muscle, and also to add more cells, increasing the muscle fibers in size.

Testosterone, like Growth Hormone, plays a large role in muscle bulk and strength, as well as fat-burning.
It also helps regulate sex drive, bone mass, fat distribution (as in where the fat is stored), body composition, and the production of red blood cells and sperm.
As it’s the “male” hormone, we see much higher numbers in men than in women, though women still need this just as men still need some estrogen, the “female” hormone.

Adding a weight-loss supplement to your diet regimen can also help you to achieve your goals, contributing to a reduced appetite, improved metabolism, and better elimination of toxins.
